Different Uniforms...
Over the course of your cadet career with the Halifax Rifles, you will be issued three uniforms. These uniforms have different names that dictate what parts of it are worn or when. Hopefully this page will clear up any confusion that can occur when navigating the uniforms of our program.

Orders of Dress...
Blues

We are the only army cadet corps in Nova Scotia to wear blues. It's a traditional dress of the armoured branch.
Blues are worn by senior cadets or cadets designated with ceremonial tasking on special occasions such as COs parades, ACR's, and community events.
Cadets only wear ranks, medals and wings on this uniform. No other earned badges are worn.
A web belt is worn with the blues.
A crossbelt is worn with the blues for Sergeants and above, the crossbelt is passed under the chain mail on the left shoulder.
For mess dinner occasions no web belt will be worn.
